Days 4-5 : Bacalar

To get to Bacalar from Tulum, your best option is to take an ADO bus, which is fast, cheap and very comfortable, allowing you to enjoy the scenery throughout the 2h30-hour journey.

The Bacalar lagoon is famous for its crystal-clear waters in multiple shades of blue, stretching over an area of 45 km. Its nickname, "the lagoon of seven colors", comes from the different shades of blue that are revealed depending on water depth and weather conditions.
